Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk (Temporary - 6 to 12 Months) Location: Bristol Pay Rate: 12.50 - 15.00 per hour (depending on experience) Contract Type: TemporaryAbout the Role We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team on a temporary basis for 6 to 12 months. This role will support the day-to-day operation of the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, cash allocation, and debt management. It is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounts receivable experience who is looking for a flexible, short-term role within a supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and issue sales invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely mannerPost and allocate customer receipts to the correct accountsReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepanciesMonitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue debtsMaintain the sales ledger and ensure records are up to dateLiaise with customers and internal teams to resolve billing and payment queriesAssist with month-end processes and reportingSupport audit requirements where necessaryAd-hoc finance and administrative tasks as requiredKey Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in an Accounts Receivable or Sales Ledger roleStrong numerical and reconciliation skillsGood attention to detail and high level of accuracyConfident communicator, both written and verbalAble to work to deadlines and manage a varied workloadProficient in Microsoft
