In this role you will start as an Assistant Service Manager, working alongside the highly experienced Service Manager, learning from them and gaining hands-on experience of managing a team of 15-20 engineers, whilst adding to your skill set through internal and external training courses. Within 2-3 years, you will step into the Service Manager position, using your skills and expert knowledge to oversee the service of pump motors, bearings and gearboxes within pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. You will also be responsible for preparing quotes and ensuring work is carried out in an efficient and safe manner.
