Architectural Technician

Location: Southampton

Salary: -30-35,000

A progressive and design led architectural practice is looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join its team in Southampton. The studio has a proven history of delivering successful schemes in collaboration with leading national house builders and continues to enjoy a strong and steady flow of residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an expanding and driven team committed to high quality housing delivery.

The role of Architectural Technician will involve:

* Preparing precise and comprehensive technical drawings for large residential developments
* Collaborating with architects, planners, consultants and clients to ensure designs are delivered in accordance with requirements
* Maintaining compliance with UK Building Regulations and NHBC standards across all project stages
* Providing guidance and support to junior team members when needed
* Attending client and project meetings, contributing to coordination and discussions

The successful Architectural Technician will have:

* A degree or HNC or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field
* Proven experience working with national house builders in the UK
* Strong technical expertise with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction practices
* Ability to manage workload independently across multiple active projects
* Strong communication skills with a proactive and team oriented approach
