We''re recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business in the Staffordshire area, part of a globally recognised engineering group. The site offers a supportive team environment, long-term stability and opportunities to develop your technical skills across a varied manufacturing operation.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production machinery and site equipment, with a strong mechanical focus. You''ll work proactively to minimise downtime, respond to breakdowns and support planned preventative maintenance across the site.

Requirements

• Time-served Maintenance Engineer or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical bias with good fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ideally, experience with industrial pipework, welding or lathe operation - although this is not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• No formal qualifications required where suitable practical experience is demonstrated.

Package

• Salary up to -43,000 DOE.
• Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
