We''re looking for someone with experience purchasing raw materials (foam, plastics, and upholstery ideal but not necessary), ready to step into a role with autonomy and ownership. You''ll be the sole Buyer for one manufacturing site, managing the full supplier relationship cycle from negotiation through to contracts.

This role is ideal for a Junior Buyer or Buying Coordinator ready to progress, or an experienced Buyer seeking a meaningful role with impact.

• Managing material requirements planning (MRP)

• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value and performance

• Running supplier reviews and drafting supplier contracts

• Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers

• Authorising invoices and ensuring cost targets are achieved

• Building strong, lasting supplier relationships

• Proven experience purchasing raw materials (foam, plastics, upholstery preferred)

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment while maintaining accuracy

• Someone who thrives with autonomy and takes ownership of results

Salary up to -32,000

Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire (fully office-based)

Weekly travel to Staffordshire site (pool car provided) so own driving license required

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:00-4:30 (occasional flexibility needed)
