This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team in a commercially focused role where you will have real involvement in reporting, analysis, budgeting and supporting business decision-making.The business is looking for someone who enjoys getting behind the numbers, understanding performance and working collaboratively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Your new role Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take responsibility for the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, while providing meaningful financial analysis and insight to support the wider business.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reportingProviding variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior-year performanceProducing clear commentary and insight around financial performanceManaging month-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepaymentsCompleting balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepanciesPreparing VAT returnsMaintaining intercompany balances and resolving any queries or discrepanciesSupporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processWorking with budget holders to review performance, expenditure and future requirementsAssisting with scenario modelling and financial ..... full job details .....
