About the teaching assistant role:The nature of the role is to work as a teaching assistant within a Year 3 class with a girl who has SEMH needs, on a 1:1 basis.The teaching assistant role is confirmed until the end of the academic year and with the possibility to extend beyond and remain with the pupil in the new academic year.You will be working closely with the class teacher and pastoral team to ensure correct plans are in place to best assist the young girl.She has SEMH needs which can lead to her becoming emotionally dysregulated.There are some behavioural needs, but the school massively support the pupil, and you will work collectively as a team throughout the day to make sure the appointed teaching assistant also feels supported.
