We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Days or nights available, various shift patterns. Pay Rate: Please note that there will be a 2 uplift on below rates between 23th of November till 20th of December on below rates. Days: Monday to Thursday - 16.15 / Friday to Sunday - 18.65. (PAYE) Days: Monday to Thursday - 17.15 / Friday to Sunday - 21.65. (Rolled up holidays) Nights: Monday to Thursday - 17.40 / Friday to Sunday - 19.65 (PAYE) Nights: Monday to Thursday - 18.40 / Friday to Sunday - 22.62 (Rolled up holidays) Location: Warrington, WA5. Job Type: Ongoing position. The role: Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations. Safely manoeuvre vehicles in tight and busy spaces. Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow. Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team. Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements. Assist with other yard duties as needed. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
