Epic is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join the Quixel team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with a wide range of artists, engineers, and other developers to develop large-scale, procedural, real-time worlds to a high visual quality. This role requires a solid understanding of general real-time world-building, from an artistic and technical perspective, where the primary objective will be to ensure our large, open worlds are performant and well optimised. A large part of your day-to-day focus as a Technical artist will be ensuring content and worlds are being developed with performance and visuals in mind, profiling content, collaborating with engineers, and looking for opportunities to empower the art team further.In this role, you will

Support the art team to build, primarily, nature-based worlds and biomes in Unreal EngineDrive performance and visual fidelity within these worlds from start to finishHave a high level of ownership and autonomy in the development and optimization of worldsCollaborate with various supporting teams, providing guidance and feedbackDefine content creation standards and guide art teams to ensure multi-platform performanceWhat we''re looking for
