We are working with an established and growing passive fire protection contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Door Project / Technical Manager to join their team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong technical background in fire doors to take responsibility for managing multiple projects across London and the South East. The role will predominantly focus on Fire Door installation and remedial works (90%), alongside a smaller proportion of Fire Stopping projects (10%). Projects span a range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare and education, with works undertaken in both occupied and operational environments. Key responsibilities Manage multiple Fire Door installation, remediation and passive fire protection projects from commencement through to completion. Oversee a team of approximately 10 operatives, including Supervisors, Carpenters and Fire Stoppers. Provide technical guidance on Fire Door installation, remedial works and compliance requirements. Assist with site surveys, technical assessments, quotations and project planning. Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and project programmes to ensure efficient delivery. Conduct regular site visits, quality inspections and progress meetings. Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
