This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join the school''s 14-19 pathway, supporting young people as they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed for life beyond education.

The Role

Working alongside experienced teaching and support staff, you will help deliver purposeful, personalised learning that is shaped by each student''s EHCP outcomes and preparation-for-adulthood goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students aged 14-19 with a range of additional needs.
• Helping learners work towards individual EHCP targets.
• Encouraging independence, communication, and life skills.
• Assisting with vocational, practical, and community-based learning activities.
• Building positive relationships that promote confidence, wellbeing, and achievement.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Are passionate about helping young people prepare for adulthood.
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with students.
• Are patient, resilient, and adaptable in their approach.
• Have experience in education, care, youth work, support work, or similar settings.
