Our client, a well established company in Nottingham with a strong reputation, are looking for two temporary Accounts Payable Clerks to start ASAP. You could work mainly from home.

Description

• Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Check invoices against supporting documents to maintain accurate payment information.
• Maintain accounts payable records so financial information is easy to review.
• Respond to supplier payment queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare payment information for review and processing.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate differences where needed.
• File invoices and supporting documents in line with established procedures.
• Work with the wider Accounting & Finance team to keep accounts payable activity running smoothly.

Profile

A successful ''Accounts Payable Clerk'' should have:

• Experience processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records.
• Confidence checking invoice details against supporting documentation.
• Ability to reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment queries.
• Good attention to detail when handling financial information.
• Ability to manage routine tasks accurately within a temporary assignment.
• Clear communication skills when dealing with suppliers and colleagues.

Job Offer

• Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk contract.
• Hourly pay of -14 to -17, dependent on the level of experience.
• Location: Nottingham, but mainly home based. Applications from candidates not commutable to Nottingham will not be accepted.
