This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced data protection controls that secure data at rest, in transit, and in use.You will play a key role in embedding security-by-design principles across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments, working closely with cross-functional engineering and security teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data protection technologies including encryption, tokenisation, and data maskingManage cryptographic services, Key Management Services (KMS), and secrets management platformsImplement and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, and SaaS applicationsEnsure secure data handling across cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), on-premises, and hybrid infrastructuresPartner with engineering teams to embed data protection into application architecture and CI/CD pipelinesSupport compliance initiatives including GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2Conduct data-focused risk assessments and threat modellingMonitor and respond to data-related sec
