Sous Chef A wonderful opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic new brand restaurant in a management position within the kitchen. Working alongside and reporting to our Head Chef, you will be enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about cooking delicious and fresh/seasonal Spanish food. Our Sous Chef will need to drive a high standard of execution and be committed to deliver consistent, beautiful dishes as part of our new restaurant concept. Supporting senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities Executes and supervises the preparation, cooking and service of various food, items ensuring consistency and quality Develops and implements creative menu items that adhere to our Head Chef approval. Assist the Exec / Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus Assist the Exec / Head Chef in food purchases while controlling costs Leads and coaches the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results Monitors food production, ordering, quality and consistency on a daily basis Ensure you and your team maintain the highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety What we are looking for: At least 1-3 years of previous experience as Sous Chef in a professional kitchen Knowledge of Spanish cuisine desirable but not essential A stable work history You have a positive ''can do'' attitude and high attention to detail You are passionate, driven, organised and punctual Looking for ..... full job details .....
