The Company: Well known distributors of automation products who are looking to strengthen their NE sales team with the recruitment of 2 high calibre key account managers. Selling to large end users and specifically targeting machine builders. Focusing on environmentally friendly production and sustainability. The Role of the External Sales Engineer You will be selling products used in the automation sector such as PLCs, HMI s and sensing systems. Adding value to existing customers by creating an attractive ROI. Managing your own diary between existing business and new business. Demonstrating your technical knowledge to customers and supporting team members. Field based role covering North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. Your time will be split between working from home, the office in Leeds and travelling to visit customers. Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification an advantage. Sales experience either internal or external is beneficial. Experience working for or selling to a distribution company would strengthen your application.
