We are looking for permanent machine operators for our client in Aberdeen

Machine Operator

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: -25,480 per annum

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 0630 to 1500; Friday, 0600 to 1430

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

No weekends or backshifts

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor food production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor product quality and report any issues promptly.
• Complete production records accurately.
• Follow food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation procedures on equipment and work areas.
• Assist with changeovers and machine adjustments when required.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing or food production environment is essential.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic equipment faults.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
