Maintenance TechnicianDepartment: EngineeringLocation: Widnes, UKReports to: EHS AdvisorRole PurposeTo provide safe, timely and effective maintenance support to production equipment and site facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and overall site reliability. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and ensures full compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and EngineeringRespond promptly to machine breakdowns within the engineering workshopCarry out preventive and predictive maintenance, including TPM activitiesMaintain and repair workshop equipmentPerform general site maintenance and repairs as requiredConduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairsInstall and modify machinery and equipmentEnsure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and control system standardsSupport fabrication and welding tasks where requiredFacilities and Site SupportCarry out maintenance of site utilities and facilitiesWork with contractors and equipment suppliers as neededSupport ongoing improvements to plant, equipment and processesCompliance and DocumentationMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationSupport compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standardsPrepare for and support internal and external auditsEnsure adherence to EHS, HandS and statutory requirementsContinuous ImprovementRole model continuous improvement and best practicesContribute to Lean manufacturing initiativesSupport E
