This role involves working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal design teams to deliver competitive, compliant, and innovative bids across a range of commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical design and build projects. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing. Support value engineering initiatives to deliver cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with internal design teams to ensure efficiency and buildability. Compile and submit tender documentation within deadlines. Maintain strong knowledge of market rates, materials, and industry trends. Assist with handover to project delivery teams. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services sector. Strong background in design and build project estimating. Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills. Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.
