Job DescriptionNew Directions Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Norris Green, Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.The School:• A supportive and community-focused primary school located in Norris Green, with a strong focus on early childhood development and inclusive education.• The school is proud of its caring ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to providing high-quality early years provision.• Children are encouraged to become confident, independent learners through a creative and engaging EYFS curriculum.The Role:• Full-time role supporting teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including Nursery and/or Reception classes.• Support children’s early development in communication, language, social skills, and early literacy and numeracy.• Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging, play-based activities.The Ideal Candidate:• Has experience working with young children in an Early Years or primary school setting, ideally within the EYFS framework.• Is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting early learning and development.• Is able to work flexibly as part of a team, using initiative and responding to children’s needs effectively.•
