We are recruiting for a hands-on Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively chase outstanding debt via telephone and emailManage and prioritise aged debt across multiple customer accountsBuild strong working relationships with customers and internal teamsInvestigate and resolve invoice queries, disputes and payment issuesReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepanciesAllocate cash receipts and obtain remittance adviceMaintain accurate collection notes and payment commitmentsEscalate overdue balances and unresolved issues when requiredSupport the management of complex and historic debt balancesAbout YouPrevious experience within Credit Control or Accounts ReceivableProven track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collectionConfident communicating with customers over the phoneStrong reconciliation and account investigation skillsExcellent organisation and attention to detailProactive, persistent and able to manage your own workloadGood Excel skillsPackageSalary: 30,000 per annum (pro rata)6 Month Fixed-Term ContractMonday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pmFriday: 7:30am - 3:30pm20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)Company pension schemeFully office-based rolePotential opportunity for the role to become ..... full job details .....
