Role: Infrastructure Engineer Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus benefits We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join an established organisation operating within the engineering and critical infrastructure sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a growing IT function, taking ownership of infrastructure modernisation, server migrations, cybersecurity and technical project delivery. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical capability across Windows Server infrastructure, Hyper-V, Active Directory and complex infrastructure migration projects. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you''ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and developing the organisation''s internal IT infrastructure, working alongside an established technical team and acting as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues. Key Responsibilities Design, plan and deliver on-premises Windows Server migrations, infrastructure upgrades and server refresh projects. Administer, maintain and optimise Windows Server environments, ensuring performance, availability and security. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user permissions and access controls.
