We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a Good-rated primary school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, graduate or someone looking to build their experience working with children.

The Role

As a KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers to ensure all children can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils during lessons
• Providing individual and small-group support
• Assisting pupils with their learning and development
• Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting teachers with classroom management and pupil behaviour
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Passionate about supporting children''s learning and development
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with teachers and pupils
• Calm and patient when dealing with challenging situations
• Confident in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Familiar with the primary school curriculum and classroom learning
• Committed to providing a safe, healthy and supportive environment for children
• Able to support teachers with managing pupil behaviour

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates are both encouraged to apply.
