Site Manager Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + Benefits Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager / Contracts Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our growing construction team, delivering a new storage and distribution depot project in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This role would particularly suit a Site Manager with a strong engineering and commercial construction background, who is comfortable managing projects involving significant groundworks, setting out, retaining structures, drainage, external works, and steel frame construction. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will be confident overseeing technically challenging packages and coordinating subcontractors throughout all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day site operations from project commencement through to completion. Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on site. Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and current legislation.
