We are seeking an experienced
Finance Change Project Manager
to lead critical change initiatives within the Finance function of a leading asset manager. This is a hands-on role, suited to a seasoned change professional who can manage external consultancy deliverables, remediate regulatory findings, and oversee related finance transformation initiatives.The initial driver for this role stems from recent
CASS
audit findings. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing remediation activity, embedding governance and controls, and ensuring clear communication of plans and progress to senior management. In addition, the role will also pick up wider finance change initiatives, including integration projects following recent acquisitions.INSIDE IR353 DAYS IN THE LONDON OFFICEResponsibilities
Lead and deliver finance change projects within agreed cost, quality and time parameters.Manage and oversee third-party consultancy deliverables, ensuring work is aligned with governance and finance team requirements.Develop and maintain core project documentation, including business cases, change requests and governance packs.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring risks, issues and decisions are surfaced and managed appropriately.Operate within the firm''s governance and change control frameworks.Provide regular management information and progress reporting.Drive knock-on finance change initiatives arising from acquisitions and other business change programmes.Take a hands-on delivery role (not purely oversight) to ensure successful outcomes.Qualifications
Proven track record as a Project Manager/Change Manager within asset management or wider financial services.At least 3 years'' experience working on finance change or transformation programmes.Strong understanding of finance function processes, controls, and regulatory requirements.Experience in CASS compliance/remediation or adjacent regulatory change.Ability to manage complex stakeholders and influence at senior levels.Skilled in project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and familiar with tools such as MS Project, JIRA or TFS.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.Demonstrable ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
