We are looking for a visionary Restaurant Development Chef to shape the future of dining at Harrods. This role combines creativity with commercial insight, ensuring new concepts are seamlessly brought to life across our restaurants.From menu and product development to ingredient sourcing, kitchen design, quality assurance, and recruitment, the Restaurant Development Chef plays a central part in transforming ideas into strategies that support Harrods growth and uphold our reputation for exceptional culinary experiences.About the RoleThe Restaurant Development Chef will be at the forefront of product development, driving innovation while ensuring operational excellence, through managing everything from tastings and menu launches to sourcing suppliers and setting standards. Every project will be an opportunity to shape the customer experience and push Harrods dining offering to new heights.Collaboration is key, with the Restaurant Development Chef working closely with colleagues across Restaurants, Kitchens, HR, Finance, and Marketing to deliver projects that balance creativity with commercial success across both our UK and international sites. This role will also have a major influence on chef development, overseeing training and mentoring through our Kitchens Academy to build a strong pipeline of future talent and create a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence across the brigade.This is a fully on-site role, working 5 days over 7.About YouYou are a forward-thinking, commercially astute chef with a track record of menu innovation, leadership, and operational delivery in high-profile restaurant environments.
