KS2 - East Grinstead

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Year 5 Teacher to join our supply pool and provide high-quality teaching within a welcoming primary school in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with upper Key Stage 2 and is looking for flexibility while still making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 5 class, following school plans, policies, and curriculum expectations.

• Maintain a positive, supportive, and productive classroom environment where pupils feel motivated and confident.

• Adapt quickly to the routines and expectations of the school, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and initiative.

• Work collaboratively with school staff where needed to support pupils'' learning, progress, and well-being.

About You

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Has proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5.

• Confident in managing behaviour and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards in every placement.

• Adaptable and comfortable working in a variety of school environments.
