Mellors Care are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to support a succesful Nursing home in central Sheffield. The role will involve working 3 day shifts per week to support in providing excellent Nursing care. The service is a ''Good'' rated, succesful Nursing home, providing care in mild and moderate Dementia, physical disability, end-of-life care and mental health. The role will involve working alongside another Nurse on shift to provide nursing care, wound care, medication and care plan updating. Other responsibilities will include: Observations Monitoring hydration and weight levels Auditing care plans PEG feed care Catheterisations and catheter care Leading the care team and ensuring the shift runs smoothly Working closely with the Registered Manager and Clinical Lead to ensure compliance with CQC regulations Communicating with relatives and family members and building trusting relationships The succesful candidate will have a Nursing qualification and an NMC Nursing PIN.
