Our client in Bridgend, a well established and growing leader in their sector, are recruiting for an experienced IT Technician to join them on a permanent basis at their offices in Bridgend.In this diverse role, you will support the development and deployment of IT provisions within the company, including end-users support, hardware, network, software and cyber security; and also support the delivery of IT projects.What you''ll be doing:Support all internal users with any IT related queries / issues in a professional and timely manner.Liaise with 3rd party support companies to assist in solutions when required.Maintain the internal helpdesk and report helpdesk KPIs.Contribute to supporting / creating user documentation.Carry out monthly IT maintenance and audits.Monitor and maintain patch management.Monitor and maintain anti-virus standards.Assist in obtaining and maintaining cyber security certifications.Assist and contribute towards key IT projects.What we''re looking for:Qualified to HND or preferably degree level in IT / Computer Science.Competent user of Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint).Windows 11 experience.IT Helpdesk experience.Understanding of firewalls, networks, switches and patch-panels.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.Salary, Benefits and Hours:Salary will be between 26,000 - 29,000 depending on exper
