Production Operatives (Reinforcement / Rebar)

Location: Rotherham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: -1516 Per Hour
Job Type: Full-time | Temp To Perm | Onsite
Start Date: Approximately 3 weeks

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a newly established start-up civil engineering manufacturing company based in Rotherham, specialising in the production of steel reinforcement components used within concrete and infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage, supporting production as a Production Operative within a busy and hands-on environment.

You will be involved in the manufacturing and handling of steel reinforcement products, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of steel reinforcement (rebar) products
• Handle and move materials safely within the production area
• Support machine operators and production processes
• Carry out repetitive tasks to meet production targets
• Perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within a similar environment (rebar, steel, construction, or manufacturing) preferred
• Some knowledge of reinforcement/rebar is advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Able to carry out repetitive work efficiently
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a start-up or fast-paced environment
