Our client, a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Indirect Buyer to support procurement operations on a permanent basis. The role will manage indirect suppliers, commodities and services, helping to maintain business continuity, control costs and provide effective operational support across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Manage assigned indirect supplier relationships, ensuring agreed service, cost, delivery, quality and responsiveness targets are achievedPlace and manage purchase orders, review purchase requisitions, respond to ERP action messages and follow up on outstanding ordersResolve invoice issues, pricing discrepancies, cancellations, expediting requirements and goods or service-related queriesMaintain procurement parameters, including supplier agreements, lead times, minimum order quantities, delivery frequencies and service levelsSupport cost reduction initiatives, minimise supplier cost increases and contribute to purchasing price performance across assigned categoriesIdentify and manage supply and service continuity risks across facilities, MRO, tooling, services, office supplies, IT and other indirect requirementsMonitor supplier performance, market conditions, capacity, pricing trends and service risks, supporting appropriate mitigation plansWork collaboratively with internal stakeholders, suppliers and commodity teams to improve processes, standardise activity and resolve procurement issuesJob Requirements:Experience in ..... full job details .....
