Credit Controller – Central Nottingham
£35,000+ | 37.5 hours | Excellent benefits

SF Partners is working with a fantastic business in Central Nottingham to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their ledger, building strong relationships with clients and having real visibility within a business. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and wider team, with the chance to make an immediate impact from day one.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and recovering outstanding debt across your own accounts
• Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Resolving invoice and payment queries quickly and professionally
• Checking and issuing monthly sales invoices
• Preparing monthly debtor reports and weekly updates for Directors
• Maintaining sales invoicing reports and cashflow information
• Posting customer receipts and recording remittances
• Supporting with legal recovery action where required
• Working closely with the Finance Director on ad hoc reporting and analysis

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience within Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
• A proactive approach to debt collection and query resolution
• Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
• Xero experience would be an advantage
• Experience within professional services or construction would be beneficial, but is not essential
