We are focused on digital transformation and sustainability to add value for customers and communities.The main purpose of this job is to:Develop, optimise and manage the CNC programmes for all processing equipmentEnsure accurate and efficient output on all machinesTranslate drawings and designs into executable machine programmesSupport seamless workflow within the production departmentKey ResponsibilitiesProvide production planning support to other warehouses in the region as requiredTrack processing productivity KPI’s, initiate and track improvement actions to improve utilisation, reduce downtime and lead timeCreate, optimise, and manage CNC programs for steel processing machinery (Voortman, Kaltenbach, Ficep, Peddinghaus)Use machine-specific software such as VACAM (Voortman), FICEP Steel Projects, Peddimat (Peddinghaus), BEAMDrill to generate and modify programsInterpret technical drawings, CAD files, and production requirements to develop accurate programsConduct test runs and troubleshooting of programs on machines to ensure optimal performance and quality outputMaintain program libraries, documentation and revision controlSupport operators with technical guidance and problem-solving during production runsContinuously improve programming processes to reduce waste, downtime and errorsThe ideal candidate will have the following experience:Proven experience as a CNC programmer within the steel industryDirect experience with
