We are looking for an enthusiastic Herdsperson with a minimum of 2 years'' experience to join our dedicated team on a 3RD generation family run farm in the heart of Somerset. Our 220-cow Pedigree Holstein Friesian herd calves all year round and is milked through a 12/12 Fullwood parlour twice a day. The cows are housed on comfortable sand cubicles and fed a mixed TMR all year-round, with access to grazing during the Spring and Summer months. The herd currently averages 8,500 litres per annum, and we rear all our own herd replacements, with all beef calves being reared to finish. The Role: We''re seeking someone with a genuine passion for cows, good stockmanship, and excellent attention to detail.
