Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to andpound;75,000 per annum

The Opportunity
An established Tier One civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver multiple projects within the water sector. The Role
The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple clean and foul water projects, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with estimating, engineering and commercial teams to drive performance and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
General Management
andbull; Deliver projects from design stage through to completion and handover
andbull; Produce financial forecasts, monitor costs and provide monthly performance reports
andbull; Chair weekly site meetings and ensure accurate records are maintained
andbull; Manage construction programmes and resource planning
andbull; Review work packages and ensure scope clarity
andbull; Develop buildable, cost effective engineering solutions
andbull; Maintain commercial tension and manage change control
andbull; Prepare estimates for additional works and support tendering activity
andbull; Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain
Health, Safety and Environment
andbull; Lead by example on health, safety and environmental standards
andbull; Ensure full compliance with company procedures and legal requirements
andbull; Maintain and update all HSE documentation
andbull; Allocate HSE responsibilities and provide training where required
andbull; Ensure subcontractor compliance with site procedures
andbull; Manage site waste and environmental risk assessments
andbull; Liaise with third parties to ensure compliance with industry regulations
andbull; Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety forums
Quality
andbull; Manage and sign off Inspection and Test Plans
andbull; Ensure QA documentation is produced and maintained
andbull; Close out technical queries efficiently
andbull; Ensure as built drawings and Oandamp;M manuals are completed and submitted
About You
Essential
andbull; Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
andbull; Proven experience delivering clean and foul water projects
andbull; Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, including Early Warnings and Compensation Events
andbull; Good working knowledge of CDM regulations, programme and risk management and cost control
andbull; Experience using Primavera P6 or similar planning software
andbull; CSCS Manager card
andbull; SMSTS
andbull; NEBOSH Construction Certificate
andbull; Excellent communication and leadership skills
andbull; Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision and drive them to completion
Desirable
andbull; Chartered status, CEng MICE
andbull; Knowledge of JCT contracts
