Event Work, Christmas time will be very busy Key Responsibilities Safely operate a company van in accordance with road traffic laws and company policies. Deliver and collect goods, parcels, materials or equipment to and from designated locations. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and within the required timeframes. Load and unload goods safely, following manual handling procedures. Check delivery paperwork, manifests and items to ensure accuracy. Maintain regular communication with the transport office, client or line manager regarding progress, delays or any issues. Provide polite and professional customer service when dealing with customers and members of the public. Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after journeys and report any defects, damage or maintenance issues promptly. Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition.
