Programme OverviewOur Summer Analyst programme offers a comprehensive view of life as a full-time credit analyst. You will be aligned to one of the Corporate, Financial Institutions or Leveraged Finance credit teams and will work on real deliverables that add value to the department.
Training and DevelopmentYour training and development are priorities, with extensive formal training at programme start, plus on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.
Responsibilities
Perform qualitative and quantitative credit analysis to assess counterparty credit risk
Compile detailed credit memos and risk rating scorecards for new and existing clients
Present recommendations to senior colleagues in written and verbal formats
Support in-flight projects and initiatives to assist the Enterprise Credit mandate
Eligibility
Candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with completion between September 2026 and July 2027; evidence of completion may be requested before offer
Available to join the programme from June to August 2026
Minimum 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
Candidates who perform well may be offered full-time employment commencing in July 2027; some lines of business may offer January or April starts. Deferrals are not available.
What We Are Looking ForEssential:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication; fluency in English
Curiosity about financial markets
Desired:
Proficiency in a language other than English (not required)
Moderate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
