Role- Electrical Design Engineer Salary- 45,000 - 67,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise) Type- Permanent Location- North Devon with hybrid flexibility My client work within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop as part of their team. The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City and Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics EngineeringHave precious experience designing a variety of Electrical SystemsProficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks ElectricalExcellent problem solving capabilitiesBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenSC Clearance will be requiredThe Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering teamBeing involved in development and electrical design activitiesWorking on the whole product lifecycleCarrying out analysis when needed, test and product supportWorking on a variety of electrical components and systems (including control systems)Ensuring product performance when integrating subsystemsEnsuring that designs meet EMC standards and defence regulatory standardsCreating the required technical documentationIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
