Speech and Language Therapist We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist (term time + 3 weeks only) to join a multi-disciplinary team which provides educational support to children and young people, their families and local schools. Position: Speech and Language Therapist Location: West London (office-based) Salary: £53,076 per annum (£50,626.34 actual/pro-rated) + market supplement Hours: Full Time (36 hours per week) Contract: Permanent (term time + 3 weeks only = 42 weeks) Closing Date: 11.59pm on Tuesday 24th February About the Role The Speech and Language Therapist at the Education Hub will provide specialist assessment, intervention and support for children and young people affected by the Grenfell Tragedy. The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments using evidence-based tools, including formal standardised assessments, observational analysis and dynamic assessment approaches to evaluate speech, language and communication needs. You will: Work on a 1:1 and group basis with children and young people and provide a high level of expertise to develop students'' speech, language and communication skills. Give advice, information and support to enable parents/carers and schools to promote the development of speech, language and communication skills. Work with families to equip them with the knowledge and skills to create supportive home environments that meet their child''s specific needs.
