Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEN / SEMH / ADHD
We are working with a specialist SEN school in Greenwich that supports pupils with ADHD, SEMH needs, and associated challenging behaviours. The school provides a highly supportive, structured environment where staff play a key role in helping students regulate emotions, build confidence, and re-engage with education.
They are now looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
The Role: Learning Support Assistant
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural needs
- Support students with focus, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
- Implement consistent behaviour management strategies and routines
- Build strong, trusting relationships to support student progress
- Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver tailored support
The Ideal Candidate: Learning Support Assistant
- Experience working with children or young people with ADHD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour (or transferable experience)
- Strong, resilient character with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Confident in managing and de-escalating challenging situations
- Positive, proactive, and consistent in approach
- Passionate about making a difference in young people''s lives
