Role: Staff Nurse – Acute Medical WardLocation: London: The Wellington HospitalWorking Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours per weekContract Type – PermanentSalary: Competitive and Excellent BenefitsJoin Our Team as a Staff Nurse – Acute Medical WardDue to recent expansion, we are seeking highly motivated Staff Nurses to join our acute nursing team on our newly opened 14-bed dedicated Acute Medical Ward at The Wellington Hospital—the UK’s largest private hospital, rated “Good” by the CQC. This ward supports our on-site Acute Admissions Unit, providing exceptional care to medical patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care by assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing continuous monitoring and clinical support for patients with acute medical conditions.Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary.administer medications, assist with diagnostic procedures, and liaise with consultants and allied healthcare professionals.Support patients and their families throughout the hospital journey.Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.Assist with research-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance clinical excellence within the ward.Qualifications
Registered Nurse Level 1 – NMC RegistrationExperience within a medical wardExperience in NHS or Private Hospital settingsWhy HCA UK
