SEN Behaviour Support Assistant

ABC Teachers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work full-time at an SEN School in Coventry on a full time basis. About the role: As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised assistance to students with special educational needs.Your primary responsibility is to offer tailored support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential within the school environment.Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to assist with the general day-to-day running of the classrooms. Building a quick rapport with the students to support students educational, social and emotional development. About the School: A Specialist school based in Coventry for children and young people aged from 9 to post 16 with social, emotional, mental health issues with the aim of providing high quality education.Following the embedded ethos to ensure students excel. The school is focused on creating a curriculum that recognises individual talents and personalities which encourage all to flourish. Easily accessible from Birmingham and Warwickshire. About you: To be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.Experience with SEMH is desirable but not essential.Suitable qualifications such as Social Work, Youth Work or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Scho
