An established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive procurement professional to take ownership of supplier relationships and play a key role in supporting business operations.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services. Working closely with internal teams, you will help drive efficiency, maintain supplier performance, and support overall operational success.

• Raise and manage purchase orders in line with business requirements
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery or quality issues
• Proactively expedite orders to ensure continuity of supply
• Support cost reduction initiatives through negotiation and supplier benchmarking
• Work cross-functionally to ensure effective coordination across departments
• Ensure accurate data management within internal systems

• Previous experience in a Buyer / Purchasing role
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience working with ERP or similar systems
• Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
