Quality Bids and Proposals Coordinator Defence Aerospace and Advanced Engineering TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading defence organisation to recruit a Quality Bids and Proposals Coordinator. This opportunity suits a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Quality professional with experience supporting bids, tenders, or proposals in a regulated engineering environment. You ll help shape proposals before contract award, ensuring quality requirements are understood, accurately costed and supported by realistic resource and delivery plans. Working across Business Development, Programme Management, Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering, you ll identify the quality obligations and risks that need to be addressed within each bid. The Role Review customer requirements, technical specifications and drawings to establish the quality scope of work. Develop and maintain Quality Basis of Estimates (BOEs), accurately costing and resourcing proposed activities. Work with Quality subject matter experts to validate labour hours, inspection requirements and delivery approaches. Document quality assumptions, dependencies and exclusions within bid submissions. Identify quality risks and opportunities, contributing to mitigation plans and bid risk reviews. Determine requirements for additional equipment, tooling, training, certification and specialist skills. Represent Quality at bid reviews, approval boards and sign-off meetings.
