The school has a strong focus on inclusion and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. You will be working mainly across KS2, supporting pupils in class and delivering targeted interventions to help children make progress academically, socially and emotionally. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to take on more responsibility and work closely with teachers and the wider inclusion team. Key Responsibilities Support pupils with SEND across KS2. Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions. Lead learning activities when required. Support class teachers with planning and lesson delivery. Help pupils remain engaged and make progress. Support children with a range of behavioural and emotional needs. Build positive and consistent relationships with pupils. Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and wider support teams. Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
