Are you a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant with a passion for giving children the very best start to their education?

We are working with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Salford that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children through play-based learning and helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically during these crucial early years.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children within the Nursery or Reception classroom.
• Deliver engaging learning activities alongside the class teacher.
• Encourage children''s communication, language and social development.
• Support early phonics, literacy and numeracy activities.
• Promote independence through child-led and play-based learning.
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe children''s progress and contribute to their development records.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

To be considered for this role, you must have one of the following:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification
• Level 2 or Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Early Years
• Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning (Early Years pathway)
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Children''s Care, Learning and Development
• Another full and relevant EYFS qualification recognised by the Department for Education.

You should also have:

• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child development.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

• £95–£105 per day, depending on experience.
