This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a stable company with a great reputation and modern facilities. Role Purpose You''ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes (Fanuc / G-Code) to produce precision components in line with engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls / G-CodeRead and interpret engineering drawings, including tolerances and material specificationsIdentify and prepare tooling, and fixtures requirements in advance to minimise downtimeCarry out routine maintenance (lubrication, coolant checks, and machine cleaning)Support and assist other team members with set-ups and tooling where neededPlease note this list is not exhaustive and may vary depending on business needs.
