This role is ideal for an experienced SENCO or a skilled primary teacher who has completed (or is completing) the NASENCO qualification and is passionate about ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed.About the RoleAs the school''s SENCO, you will lead and oversee the provision for pupils with SEND across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. You will work closely with class teachers, teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies to ensure high-quality support is delivered consistently throughout the school.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and lead SEND provision across the whole primary schoolIdentify pupils with SEND and oversee assessment, monitoring, and interventionsDevelop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised supportSupport teaching staff in adapting lessons and delivering inclusive practiceLead SEND meetings and maintain strong communication with parents and carersCoordinate referrals to external agencies and maintain multi-agency relationshipsEnsure accurate record-keeping aligned with the SEND Code of PracticeProvide training, guidance, and support to teachers and support staffOversee provision for pupils with EHCPs and support plansPromote a positive, inclusive culture that meets the needs of all learnersRequirementsT
