Fragrance Formulation Chemist - West Yorkshire - Home Care and Personal Care The OpportunityAn established and fast-growing consumer products manufacturer is seeking a Fragrance Formulation Chemist to join its technical team. This is a hands-on development role combining fragrance expertise, laboratory testing and project management, working closely with external fragrance houses and internal commercial teams.Reporting into senior RandD leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing new and improved fragrances across a broad portfolio of home care and personal care products, from concept through to launch.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market and trend research within the fragrance category to identify new opportunities across home and personal care applicationsBuild and manage strong working relationships with external fragrance houses, creating clear briefs and guiding development activityDevelop a robust pipeline of fragrances aligned to brand, customer and product requirementsCarry out compatibility, stability and performance testing of fragrances in existing and new formulationsManage internal and external product evaluations, including identifying and implementing new evaluation methodsEnsure all laboratory work is completed safely, accurately and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards (e.g. BRC, ISO 9001)Review competitor products to assess fragrance performance, claims and emerging technologiesProvide quality and technical support t
