About the Role:

• Provide focused speech and language therapy interventions tailored to pupils with diverse communication needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to embed therapy within classroom activities
• Assess, design, and regularly review individual therapy programmes
• Keep thorough records and actively contribute to EHCP planning and review processes
• Deliver training and support to school staff on communication strategies and the use of AAC tools

The ideal candidate will:

• Registered with HCPC and holds a recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Experience working within educational settings, including mainstream or SEN schools
• In-depth knowledge of SEN, with a focus on communication disorders, autism, and developmental delays
• Proficient in AAC and alternative communication methods
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with others
