Graduate Building Surveyor

A leading engineering organisation is seeking a Graduate or Assistant Building Surveyor to their team in the North West. The role offers diverse and engaging work across public and private sector projects, with opportunities for career progression and professional development. Ideal Candidate: 1 2 years post-qualification experience Working towards Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, or similar) Ambitious, collaborative, and client-focused Key Responsibilities: Deliver building surveying services across various sectors Support with project management and contract administration Conduct surveys, defect analysis, and prepare reports/specifications Design and manage small to medium refurbishment and extension projects Maintain client relationships and ensure quality service delivery Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams Requirements: RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying or similar Experience with both pre- and post-contract stages Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus) Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel as needed Understanding of health and safety regulations (CDM 2015, BSA 2023) Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts Sectors including education, healthcare, local and central government, and infrastructure projects.
